Cost should never be the only factor when selecting a foreign medical university. NMC's current guidance advises students to verify course duration, medium of instruction, curriculum, clinical training and internship arrangements before joining a foreign medical institution.
Under the current FMGL FAQ, NMC specifies a minimum 54-month foreign medical course, English as the medium of instruction and a 12-month internship in the same foreign medical institution among the requirements relevant to Indian FMGs.
